Pacific Northwest 2024 Calendar
I selected 12 of my favorite shots from my trip to Washington to create a calendar capturing the beauty of the region, with the goal of creating a deeper appreciation for nature and inspiring others to explore the area, themselves. It's always nice to bring a taste of the outdoors in.

Silhouette Self Portrait (2020)
This piece of work represents a personal narrative about the current wildfires taking place in California.  knew I wanted to keep the piece mostly geometric, but I opted to keep the flames organic, as it causes a visual disruption, much like the actual fires that caused a disruption in the lives of thousands of Californians. Another symbolic message represented in the design is the burning of the Golden Gate Bridge which can be interpreted as the severe political divide in America. Because we have not been able to come together effectively to combat climate change, disasters like this are becoming more prevalent. To resolve this problem, we need to rebuild the bridge of connection and generate synergy that will lead us to a more hopeful future.

Environmental Sticker Project
During the pandemic, I created several different climate justice-related designs, sold as stickers and pins on RedBubble.
New Museum Los Gatos Contest
In 2018, my visual narrative, Stationary, was entered in the ArtNow contest. It won second place in the Video/Film category, and I was awarded $100! The video was exhibited at the New Museum Los Gatos from March 29–May 6, 2018. Out of 1400 submissions, my video was 1 of 87 pieces of work selected to be put on display.
STD Awareness Video
In March of 2018, I created an STD awareness video for the Santa Clara County Public Health Department Viral Video Contest. My submission won first place, and along with the certificate (pictured to the left) from the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, the GoViral Video Contest Team awarded $1500 to me and $500 to my school, Freestyle Academy.
CDs for Puerto Rico
After Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico in 2017, my friend and I sold original CDs to fundraise for our friends at the Academia Musical da Capo in Aguada, Puerto Rico to help replace instruments damaged by the storm. We quickly organized a group of singers and recorded a set of 7 songs in Spanish with the help of Leo Florendo from Freestyle Academy. We successfully sold 300 CDs and raised $3,400 for the music school.
KitTea Cafe Documentary (2017)
A short documentary about a cat cafe  based in San Francisco. On a technical level, this project taught me how to operate various microphones, and it was a logistical challenge that my partner and I successfully overcame. It put our interpersonal skills to the test and showed us what the human side of documentary filmmaking looks like.
